Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure code, to direct the Third Additional Sessions Judge (Special Court for PCR Cases) Court, Madurai to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider their bail application on the same day in connection with crime No.3 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.VARATHARAJAN.S, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.B.Nambiselvan, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondents 1 & 2, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time to produce the sureties in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.3671 of 2023 dated 24.02.2023 by this Court before the jurisdictional Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that since the first petitioner is the only bread winner and she is having five children and she is taking care of the second petitioner herein who is the mother of the first petitioner, she could not execute sureties before the jurisdictional Court in time. 3.Considering the above submission, this petition is allowed and a further time of 15 days is granted to surrender before the jurisdictional Court, execute the sureties and to comply with the conditions imposed in the order dated 24.02.2023.
