O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction, to direct the second respondent to issue non traceable certificate in respect of the documents viz., original sale deed in Document No. 297/2005 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Aranthangi. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has purchased the property on 10.02.2005, ad measuring to an extent of 1080 sq.ft comprised in S.No.274 of 2012, situated at Kalapakadu Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukottai District, from one Lakshmi by way of registered sale deed in Document No.297 of 2005, which was registered on the file of the Sub Registrar, Aranthangi. On 01.12.2020, she took the sale deed for taking photostat copies at Aranthangi. After taking photostat copies, while waiting for bus, she has misplaced the documents.

Therefore, she gave a paper publication and unable to trace out the sale deed, she gave an online complaint on 05.12.2020, before the second respondent police. So far, document has not been traced out. In order to obtain certified copy of sale deed, she is in need of non-traceable certificate from the second respondent. Hence, this petition has been filed for giving direction to the second respondent police.

CRL.O.P (MD) No.10008 of 2022 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that though the complaint has been received through online, the petitioner never appeared before the second respondent police for enquiry. However, he assured to search the original sale deed. 4.I consider the matter in the light of the submissions made by both parties. Admittedly, the petitioner has misplaced the original sale deed dated 10.02.2005 and gave the paper publication and also gave an online complaint before the second respondent police on 05.12.2020. Hence, the petitioner is hereby directed to appear before the second respondent police and furnish the needed particulars to the police, to enable them to find out the original sale deed. If the sale deed is unable to trace out, the second respondent police directed to give a non-traceable certificate to the petitioner, enabling her to get certified copy from the Registrar Office, within a period of two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
