ORDER

The Civil Revision Petition is filed to direct the learned Rent Controller / District Munsif, Madurai Town, to expedite the enquiry in RCOP.No.49 of 2015 and to dispose of the same within a time to be fixed by this Court.

2. The revision petitioner, landlord is a Senior Citizen. The respondent is the tenant.

3. The revision petitioner filed RCOP.No.49 of 2015, on the file of learned Rent Controller / District Munsif, Madurai, for eviction on the ground of owner's occupation. The respondent filed Vakalat and entered appearance. The respondent did not file counter and the RCOP is periodically adjourned without assigning any valid reason and therefore, the petitioner being the landlord has filed the present Civil Revision Petition.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Though the notice was served on the respondent and his name is also printed in the cause list, he has not chosen to appear either in person or through counsel.

5. Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

opinion on merits, this Court directs the learned Rent Controller / District Munsif, Madurai Town, to dispose of RCOP.No.49 of 2015, pending on the file of learned Rent Controller (District Munsif), Madurai Town, as expeditiously as possible in any event, not later than 30th October 2016.

6. Accordingly, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
