ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue Patta in the name of the petitioner in Survey No.45/5, measuring an extent of 897 sq.ft. situated at Kottagaimedu, Y.Pudupatti Village, Madurai District, based on the representations made by him on 04.01.2021, 18.01.2021, 19.04.2021 and 13.06.2021.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the request made by the petitioner seeking for Patta has already been rejected by the second respondent and that an appeal has been filed before the appropriate authority and the same is pending.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives in this Writ Petition and accordingly, the same is closed. No costs.
