[Order of the Court was made by J.NISHA BANU, J.] By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.Heard Mr.Adithya Varadarajan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Govindarajan, learned Deputy Solicitor General of India for the respondents 1 to 3, Mr.K.P.Krishna Doss, learned Standing Counsel for the fourth respondent and Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader for the respondent Nos.5, 6 and 7.
3.The writ petition was filed seeking a direction to the respondents to construct an underpass in the Madurai ring road to enable expansion of runway of Madurai Airport by considering the petitioner's representation dated.28.10.2024. 4.The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 5, 6 and 7, on instructions, submits that the issue on hand has been considered by the Government and a proposal has been issued to form an alternative road to Madurai Ring Road instead of vehicular underpass. He has also produced the
proceedings in Letter No.11904/EAP-11(1)/2021-23, dated 16.11.2022, in this regard.
5.In view of the above, nothing remains to be further considered in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
