PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondents No.1 and 2 herein to provide Cashier duty or other light work permanently as an alternative employment to the Petitioner in the Respondents Corporation without affecting his scale of pay by considering the report of the Regional Medical Board at Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai in conformity to the Section-47 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of the writ petition, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has been granted by the respondents and hence, nothing remains to be adjudicated further in this writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. Recording the same, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
