ORDER

Heard the learned Counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner owns the building bearing Door No.P637, Anna Salai, 80 Feet Road, Bye Pass Main Road, K.K.Nagar, Madurai. His grievance is that the Corporation has not assessed his building to property tax. In this regard, he submitted an appeal dated 13.03.2015 before the first respondent. The same is yet to be disposed of. Therefore, this writ petition has been filed.

3. Without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the appeal of the petitioner dated 13.03.2015, in accordance with law. Such an order shall be passed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
