This writ petition has been filed seeking Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to pass final order on the disciplinary proceedings initiated pursuant to the charge memo vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.A1/3226/2-25-2 dated 15.05.2025.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the petitioner herein by issuing a charge memo bearing Na.Ka.No.A1/3226/2025-2 dated 15.05.2025, but the same have not yet been concluded, though the entire inquiry process has been completed and a second show cause notice was issued, the petitioner submitted his explanation as early as on 25.02.2026.

4. Mr.B.Ramanathan, learned Additional Government Pleader, submitted that the respondents would pass appropriate final orders within a period of four weeks.

5. In the light of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to pass appropriate final orders in the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner by issuing a charge memo dated 15.05.2025, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
