ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A2, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 323, 324, 506(ii) and 302 of IPC, in Cr.No.597 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity between the parties, on 13.12.2021 at about 07.30 p.m., the petitioner and her husband abused the de-facto complainant in filthy language and threatened his son-in-law that he will come to seashore as dead body. At that time, there was a wordy quarrel between them, the petitioner's husband and her brother-in-law assaulted the de-facto complainant's brother with crowbar and also caused grievous chest injury to the de-facto complainant's brother. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the first accused, in his confession, has specifically stated about the involvement of the petitioner. He would further submit that the investigation is yet to be completed. 5.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged and also taking note of the confession given by the first accused and also the fact that the investigation is yet to be completed as stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
