ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2.The petitioner has been directed to pay a sum of Rs.1,64,80,800/- towards 'B' memo charges. The petitioner is said to be occupying a water body. It is obvious that the impugned communication has been issued even without putting the petitioner on notice.

3.Therefore, on that sole ground, I quash it. Accordingly, the impugned order, dated 18.08.2020 is quashed and the matter is remitted back to the third respondent to pass orders afresh, on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.11101 of 2020 merits and in accordance with law. The writ petition stands allowed, accordingly.

No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
