ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash re-tender Notification dated 27.03.2025 and consequently, to direct the respondent to issue work order to the petitioner for the work in Sl.No.1 Construction of Four Class Room at Ward No.8, Office Street Government Boys Higher Secondary School in Alangudi Town Panchayat in Tender Notification No.270/2024/A1, dated 02.09.2024.

2. Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent had initially called for a tender on 02.09.2024. On 26.09.2024, four tender documents were received, among which the petitioner had submitted the lowest bid but failed to pay the additional security deposit. Therefore, the earlier tender notification was cancelled and a fresh tender was called for on 27.03.2025, in which the petitioner also participated.

3. Recording the above submissions, the Writ Petition is dismissed, as the issue under challenge has been rendered infructuous due to initiation of a fresh

tender process, in which the petitioner has chosen to participate. No relief can be granted after such participation. There shall be no order as to costs.
