Respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to forthwith stop the unauthorized construction of the concrete pole upon the irrigation canal connecting to the Thanjavur Melattur Road, Papanasam Taluk, Thanjavur District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2015 within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2015.

2. Mr.K.Guru learned Government Advocate takes notice for the first respondent.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representation of the

petitioner is disposed of, by the first respondent, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has no objection in considering the representation of the petitioner, on merits.

6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.04.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
