RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend time for two weeks period for producing sureties before the Special Court in the Cadre District Judge at Madurai to deal with the Case of Offence in Contravention of the Provision of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) act 1957 (Amendment act 10 of 2015) Madurai in Crime No.93/2020 in CRL OP(MD) No.4090/2021 on 25.03.2021.
Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.SUSI KUMAR.C., Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.M.MUTHUMANIKKAM, Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- The petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.4090 of 2021 dated 25.03.2021, for producing the sureties and for executing the bail bond.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is unable to arrange sureties and could not surrender before the concerned Magistrate and execute the bail bond within a stipulated time as ordered by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant further time to execute the sureties.
3. Heard the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation this petition is allowed and the time for producing the sureties is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order as a last chance.
