This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No. 1216 of 2020, dated 15.12.2020 on the file of the respondent police and also direct them to file the final report before the learned Jurisdictional Court within a stipulated time. 2.Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that after investigation, the case has been closed as 'mistake of fact' and report to that effect was also despatched to the jurisdictional Court, ie., learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kovilpatti on 13.02.2021. 3.Recording the said submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
