ORDER

A mention was made in the morning to move the present writ petition as a Lunch Motion and permission was granted. The writ petition had been filed in the nature of Certiorari, seeking records of the impugned notification dated 30.03.2023 in Ref.No.003995/S1/4/2023. The said notification is for inviting tenders, issued by the Dean of Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai. The limited tender was for disposal of condemned articles (Except Surgical Equipment / Machinery / Consumable) in Government Rajaji Hospital, Maurai. There are a string of 19 items.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner pointed out that after listing the said 19 items, in the tender notice, the dates have been given and unfortunately they are of the year 2022.

3. I really appreciate the extreme caution exhibited by the petitioner in pointing out the mistake made by the respondent. It is actually 2023 and not 2022 and even otherwise, it is evident that it is only 2023. This would not materially affect any other terms of the contract or tender. The petitioner has submitted his form and if it is otherwise in order, it may be accepted by the respondent and the tender may proceed further. No further orders are required. 2/4

4. This writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
