: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to direct 2nd to 4th respondents to remove the encroachments made by the individuals in Sengudi Kanmai irrigation channel and Periyamelakandi Kanmai, Chinnamelakkandi Kanmai, Kandikanmai and other irrigation channel situate in Vaniangudi Group, Muthur Vaniangudi Panchayat, Kalaiyarkovil Union, Sivagangai District by considering the welfare of the agriculturists on the basis of the representation dated 20.05.2022. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) It is the case of the petitioner that there are encroachments in Sengudi Kanmai irrigation channel and Periyamelakandi Kanmai, Chinnamelakkandi Kanmai, Kandikanmai and other irrigation channels in Vaniangudi Group, Muthur Vaniangudi Panchayat, Kalaiyarkovil Union, Sivagangai District, for removal of which, the Public Interest Litigation has been filed.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.It is seen that the petitioner has given a representation dated 20.05.2022, which is bereft of even minimum particulars. We do not find any substance at all in the representation or in the allegations of the petitioner for entertaining this Public Interest Litigation. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
