This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to transfer the investigation from the second respondent police to third respondent police in Crime No.510 of 2023. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that in this case, after investigation, final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram and the same has been taken on file in C.C.No.45 of 2025 . 3.Since the respondent police have already completed the investigation and filed final report, nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter. Therefore, this criminal original petition stands closed.

4.At this juncture, the learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court may direct the trial Court to complete the trial within a stipulated time.

5.Considering that the case is pending from the year 2023, the trial Court is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.45 of 2025 as early as possible without granting any long adjournments beyond fifteen days.
