Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 354, and 506 IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Women Harassment Act, 2002, subsequently altered into Sections 354 and 506 IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Women Harassment Act, 2002 and Sections 417 and 376 IPC, in Crime No.10 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.
3.The victim, namely Ranjani is present before this Court. A sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) is being handed over by way of Demand Draft to the said Rajani. She acknowledged the receipt of the same.
4.Since the petitioner has made some amends for his disgraceful conduct, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on her appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ilayankudi, and on her executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only)each with two sureties for a like sum to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. Scrupulously.
5.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
6.However, it is made clear that the case against the petitioner shall go on notwithstanding grant of this anticipatory bail.
