The petitioner/the first accused in Crime No.350 of 2017, has filed this application seeking to quash the FIR pending against her. 2.The case of the prosecution is that due to civil dispute, the petitioner along with other accused threatened the defacto complainant, abused him using filthy language, attacked him using iron rod and caused injury. Hence the case.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that based on a civil dispute, a criminal case has been foisted as against the petitioner. Though an allegation has been made that the petitioner has assaulted the defacto complainant, there is no injury and there is no wound certificate available in this regard. However, the respondent police is keeping the investigation pending and has not closed the complaint.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that apart from other allegations, there are 2/5

injuries on the defacto complainant. He further submits that in this case, investigation has already been completed and final report has been filed but the same was returned by the learned Magistrate stating that the addresses of the accused, who are absconding are not properly mentioned. The respondent police claim that now they have collected the addresses of the absconding accused and re-presented the final report and the same would be taken up on file within a period of two weeks. 5.Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) that after completion of investigation, final report has already been filed in this case, this criminal original petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report in the manner known to law. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
