ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition had been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.505 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police and file a final report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent police has registered an FIR in Crime No.505 of 2022 and the investigation is in progress. In this case, so far four witnesses have been examined by the respondent Police. Hence, he seeks four months time to complete the investigation and file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the said submissions, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.505 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of four 2/4

months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
