ORDER
The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2018, seeking permission to conduct Kabadi Tournament between 25.07.2018 (6.00 p.m.) to 26.07.2018 (till 10.00 a.m.) in Maruhalkurichi Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. According to the petitioner, he made a representation to the respondents on 09.07.2018, for granting permission to conduct Kabadi Tournament between 25.07.2018 (6.00 p.m.) to 26.07.2018 (till 10.00 a.m.) in Maruhalkurichi Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli. But so far no order has been passed. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the said representation of the petitioner dated 09.07.2018, would be considered on merits and in accordance with law and an order to that effect would be passed within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
4. By considering the said submission, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 09.07.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 24.07.2018.
5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
