O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records and quash the proceedings in S.T.C.No.513 of 2022 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate-I, Sivakasi, as against the petitioner.

2. After going through the entire records and after hearing both side counsel, this Court is not inclined to quash S.T.C.No.513 of 2022 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate-I, Sivakasi. When this Court about to dismiss the petition, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner made a request for expedite trial, since the petitioner is aged about 56 years.

3.Considering the request made by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the Judicial Magistrate-I, Sivakasi., to complete the trial process in S.T.C.No.513 of 2022, within a period of five months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
