Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 4 and 6 herein to provide necessary police protection during the festival of Arulmighu Muthumariamman Temple, Thathanoor Village, Marunkapuri Taluk, Trichy District to be held on 24.05.2015 to 28.05.2015 and 03.06.2015 in the light of the petitioner's representation, dated 22.04.2015 and pass such further or other orders. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 4 and 6 herein to provide necessary police protection during the festival of Arulmighu Muthumariamman Temple, Thathanoor Village, Marunkapuri https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Taluk, Trichy District to be held on 24.05.2015 to 28.05.2015 and 03.06.2015 in the light of the petitioner's representation, dated 22.04.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and 6.

3. Basing reliance upon interim order granted in I.A.No.263 of 2013 in O.S.No.187 of 2013, which was passed after hearing the opposite group and another interim injunction granted in I.A.No.585 of 2013 in O.S.No.356 of 2013, in which, after contest, an order was passed restraining the respondent therein from interfering with the petitioner's right to perform his role as a Poojari, the petitioner has come forward to file this Writ Petition.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that there is no objection to permit the petitioner to conduct the festival and necessary police protection would be given.

5. In view of the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, a direction is issued to the respondents 4 and 6 to give appropriate police protection for the successful conduct of the festival. However, it is well open to the respondents 1 to 4 and 6 to impose appropriate conditions, as they think in the interest of maintaining law and order problem.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
