ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition had been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to file a final report/charge sheet in Crime No.195 of 2022, dated 22.04.2022 within the period stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondent police has registered an FIR in Crime No.195 of 2022 and the investigation is in progress. In this case, cellphone has been recovered and the same was sent to RFSL for examination. Hence, he seeks five months time to complete the investigation and file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the said submissions, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.195 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of three 2/4

months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
