ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 28.05.2018, within a stipulated time limit.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing on either side.

3. With grievance that the water body and road are being occupied by private persons, the petitioner has made several representations. Last of the representation was made on 28.05.2018. Though, in the reply given earlier, it has been stated that action would be taken after taking measurements, no further progress has been made.

4. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.05.2018, by removing the encroachments, if any, after due notice to the parties concerned. The entire exercise will have to be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
