Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to construct new building after demolishing the damaged old building in Arumpannor Government Middle School, situated in East Panchayat Union, Armpannor, Madurai District with all infrastructure within a stipulated time.

[Order of the Court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN, J.] The petitioner has come up with this Public Interest Litigation seeking a direction to the respondents to construct new building after demolishing the damaged old building in Arumpannor Government Middle School, situated in East Panchayat Union, Armpannor, Madurai District with all infrastructure within a stipulated time.

2.We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. We have also perused the records carefully.
3.In the counter affidavit filed by the third respondent, in paragraph No.19, it is stated that these respondents are taking their earnest steps to get necessary funds, demolish the damaged building and put up new construction of the class rooms for the students. It is also stated that these respondents will ensure the safety of the children and provide them necessary facilities till then. It is also stated that the above exercise shall be completed within six months. The said statement is recorded. 4.In view of the above submission of the third respondent, no further adjudication is necessary in this Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
