This petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to expedite the investigation in Crime No.866 of 2014 dated 17.12.2014 and file a final report within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court. 1/41/4

When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that investigation in Crime No.866 of 2014 has been completed and charge sheet has also been filed through e-filing in E-filing No.LTN20220001660c202300003 on 13.10.2023 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thanthonrimalai.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thanthonrimalai, is directed to take appropriate decision on the final report filed in Crime No.866 of 2014 by the respondent, without any delay.
