ORDER
The petitioner seeks a Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider her representation dated 26.12.2024 seeking to provide compensation for the death of her son namely, Prabhakaran, in the road accident within the time stipulated by this court.
2. The petitioner states that her first son suffered an accident on 31.10.2024 on the Tiruchirappalli-Pudukkottai Highways. He passed away on 03.11.2024. Mandaiyur Police registered a case in Crime No.50 of 2024 on 31.10.2024. Post his death, the petitioner made a request to the Government of Tamil Nadu to disburse the compensation to her under the accident victim compensation scheme. As the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. When the matter came up for admission, Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader, took the notice for the first respondent and Mr.S.Prakash, learned Government Advocate, appeared on behalf of the Mandaiyur Police.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.S.Prakash stated that the Mandaiyur police has sent a report to the District Collector on 23.11.2025 regarding the accident.
5. Mr.A.Kannan, states that on receipt of the report, the petitioner's application has been assigned the number 001/2025-2026. In terms of the scheme, payments are made as per the seniority list and availability of funds. He further states that when the seniority of the petitioner arrives within the consideration, the compensation would be paid.
6. Recording the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
