O R D E R

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to rectify the errors that had occurred during the UDR survey with regard to lands in S.No.467/2, subdivided S.No.467/2A, measuring an extent of 4.43 Acre, Inam Karur Village, Karur Taluk, Karur. The petitioner has already made representations seeking necessary rectification in the UDR survey schemes, correcting the mistakes that have occurred. The said representations are dated 25.09.2023 and 07.03.2025. 2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the third respondent has already initiated action and called for report from the fourth respondent, which is not forthcoming and hence, the writ petitioner has approached this Court.

3.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ Petition, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 25.09.2023 and 07.03.2025, on its own merits and in accordance with law. It is made clear that the fourth respondent shall forward his report to the third respondent within a period of four [4] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, within a period of four [4] weeks, the third respondent shall forward his report to the second respondent, within a further period of four [4] weeks, the second respondent shall finally dispose of the application of the petitioner. 5.Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
