This writ petition has been filed challenging the proceedings dated 09.04.2024, in and by which, the second respondent, by referring the law and order issue, rejected the request of the petitioner to grant permission and to give necessary police protection for conducting Adal Padal Programme scheduled to be held on 20.05.2024 from 8.00 p.m to 11.00 p.m. in Arulmigu Mutharaman Temple, Theriyur, Udangudi,

3. Now, the election in Tamil Nadu is over. Therefore, the petitioner shall renew his application before the third respondent/the Assistant Returning Officer, Thoothukudi. On receipt of such application, the third respondent/the Assistant Returning Officer shall consider the same.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
