ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.
2.The petitioner seeks removal of the encroachments in Survey No. 194/2 in Kovilur Village, Gantharvakottai Taluk. Copy of the A-Register was produced before us.
3.The learned Special Government Pleader also confirms that Survey No.194/2 has been classified as "tank and burial ground". In such places, encroachments by private persons cannot be permitted. 3/5
4.We direct the third respondent to take action as per law. Notices shall be issued to all the encroachers. Survey No.194/2 shall be restored to its original condition. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.This Writ Petition is allowed accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
