2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case in 1/4

S.T.C.No.943 of 2017 was registered against the respondent/accused for the offence punishable under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act. It is submitted that since 2017, the matter is kept pending and therefore, she sought for suitable directions.

3. This Court, when the matter was listed on earlier occasion (i.e.,) 26.04.2023, has directed the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner to report as to the stage of the case before the trial Court. Today, it is reported by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the matter is posted tomorrow (i.e.,) 08.08.2023 for arguments.

4. Considering the fact that S.T.C.No.943 of 2017 is posted for arguments on 08.08.2023, the trial Court is directed to dispose of S.T.C.No.943 of 2017 as quickly as possible not later than four weeks from today.
