Respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st Respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 26.02.2015 and pass appropriate orders either to return the petitioner's family card bearing NO. 27/G/0044871 issued in December 2004 or to issue a new Family Card to the petitioner within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.02.2015.
2. Mr.S.Bharathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the official respondents.
3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that either the second respondent shall return the family card pertaining to the petitioner or he can issue a new family card to him, as the family card is being issued to the very needy people. In this regard, though he has given representations dated 01.09.2014, 19.01.2015 and 26.02.2015, no fruitful action is taken by the respondents.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has no objection in considering the representation of the petitioner, as per law.
6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 26.02.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
