O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the Petitioner's daughter namely, Kannagi, aged 21 years before this Court and set her at liberty. 2.It is the case of the Petitioner that his daughter, the detenue herein is found missing from 7.8.2020 and in this regard, a criminal case was also registered in Crime No.1576 of 2020, but no useful result has come yet.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the detenue and the Petitioner appeared before this Court through video-conferencing from the Additional Public Prosecutor's Office. On enquiry, the detenue would state that she is now aged about 21 years and on 8.8.2020, she had married one Mohammed Basha and both https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.642 of 2020 are living together at Aaviyur, Virudhunagar District. 4.In the light of the above statement made by the detenue, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
