ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police to give adequate Police Protection to protect the life and limb of the petitioner, on the basis of the petitioner's complaint / representation, dated 02.05.2022.

2.On perusal of the petitioner's representation, dated 02.05.2022, it is seen that the petitioner seeks police protection for recovery of possession of his property from a third person. However, in my opinion, the police officials have no power to recover the property in possession of a third person. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.10696 of 2022 3.Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be entertained.

Since the petitioner's representation is unsustainable, the respondent police cannot be directed to consider the same. Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
