This criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the case registered in Crime No.702 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same as illegal insofar as the petitioner is concerned. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

Crl.OP.(MD) No.10170 of 2020 3.Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that in respect of the Crime No.702 of 2020, the first respondent herein has completed the investigation and prepared a final report. In this regard, he has produced a copy of the final report before this Court.

4.In view of the above, since the investigation has been completed in respect of crime No.702 of 2020, the petition filed by the petitioner has become infructuous. However, the first respondent is directed to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
