This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction, to direct the Respondents 1 and 2 to provide Police Protection to the life and limb of the Petitioner from the Respondents 3 to 6. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is a resident of Aavarankulam village. The third respondent is a quarry owner and the respondents 4 to 6 are the close friends of the third respondent. The third respondent with the help of others made quarries in the other unlicensed areas. Therefore, the petitioner complained about his illegal activities. In order to take revenge against the petitioner, the respondents 3 to 6 have made to threaten the life of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner gave a complaint on 09.05.2022 and also gave a complaint to the District Collector and other officials. So far no action has been taken. CRL.O.P (MD) No.10024 of 2022 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the petitioner appeared before the second respondent police on 06.06.2022 and assured to appear for the enquiry on 07.06.2022. Hence, no action has been taken against the petitioner's complaint. He also filed the letter submitted by the petitioner before the second respondent police on 06.06.2022.
4.Considering the above stated matters and also taking into consideration of the submissions made by both the learned counsels, I direct the second respondent police to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.05.2022 and conduct an enquiry on both parties and pass suitable orders.
5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
