ORDER
The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct Music Concert on 25.07.2018 from 7.00 p.m. to 12.00 a.m. during the temple festival of Arulmigu Muppudathi Amman Temple, Moolakkaraipatti Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District.
2. According to the petitioner, he made a representation to the Sub Inspector of Police, Moolakkaraipatti Police Station, Tiruneveli District on 17.07.2018, for granting permission to conduct Music Concert on 25.07.2018 from 7.00 p.m. to 12.00 a.m. during the temple festival of Arulmigu Muppudathi Amman Temple, Moolakkaraipatti Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District. But so far no order has been passed. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing this writ petition.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the present writ petition is not maintainable, since the petitioner has made a representation to the Sub Inspector of Police, Moolakkaraipatti Police Station, Tiruneveli District and if any such representation is received by the second respondent, the same shall be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

4. Recording the aforesaid submission made by both parties, the Writ Petition is dismissed as not maintainable. However, the petitioner is at liberty to make a fresh representation to the second respondent. If any such representation is made, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 24.07.2018. No costs.
