Heard Mr.P.R.Prithiviraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.Amjadkhan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, seeking direction against the first respondent to promote the petitioner to the post of Medical Record Officer notionally with effect from the panel year 2021-2022 by declaring the probation of the petitioner in the post of Medical Record Technician by the fourth respondent and grant all attendant monetary benefits.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.T.Amjadkhan, learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner's probation has been declared in the post of Medical Record Technician by the fourth respondent and in this regard, a copy of the order has also been served upon the petitioner. 2/5

4. In such case, it is for the respondents to take a call to pass an order regarding promotion to the post of Medical Record Officer as claimed by the petitioner.

5. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the first respondent and on receipt of the same, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's claim regarding promotion and pass orders on merits, within a period of two weeks therefrom.
