ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN, J.) The petitioner, namely Chandran has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition stating that his son, namely Manjalegar @ Malaisamy, aged about 20 years, has been found missing from 17.06.2016. He has given a complaint to the second respondent on 26.06.2016, on receipt of which, a case was registered as 'man missing case' in Crime No.148 of 2016. Since the detenu has not been secured so far, the petitioner has come up with the present Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor stated that the investigation is under progress.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, we close the Habeas Corpus Petition by giving a direction to the second respondent to expedite the investigation.
