ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners who are apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 307, 506(2) IPC and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, seek anticipatory bail. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police. 3.The first petitioner is said to have indiscriminately cut the husband of the defacto complainant with an Aruval. Taking note of the serious allegation made against the first petitioner, this petition is dismissed insofar as the first petitioner is concerned. The second petitioner is only the mother of the first petitioner. 4.

Therefore, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the second petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the second petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on her appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Srivaikundam and on her executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the second petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. Scrupulously. The second petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
