ORDER
The petitioners are accused in Crime No.21 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent Police Station, which was registered for the offence under Sections 498(A), 294(b) and 506(1) IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.
2.The case of the prosecution is that due to matrimonial dispute, the accused had harassed the defacto complainant and demanded dowry. Hence the case. The petitioners / accused and the defacto complainant are relatives. 3.On the intervention of the elders, the petitioners and the defacto complainant have amicably resolved their issue. A compromise memo, dated NIL (which was received by the Registry on 21.03.2024) signed by the parties, is also filed before this Court.
4.Though the matter has been compromised, today, when the matter is 2/4
taken up for hearing, the petitioners/Accused Nos.4 & 5 are not present. Therefore, this criminal original petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
