For Respondent : Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.967 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 307 and 302 of IPC seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the deceased by name Rajalakshmi was staying along with one Santha in her house. On 07.08.2020 at mid night some body trespassed into the house of said Santha and tried to attack her, when she prevented she sustained injuries in the arm and thereafter the said Santha found the deceased with injuries, then she informed the same to the relatives and thereafter both the deceased and Santha were taken to hospital, where the deceased was declared brought dead and later the said Santha has given statement before the respondent police identifying the dress worn by the accused person. Hence the case has been registered against the accused persons.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the State.
4. From the perusal of the materials it is seen that injured witness has identified the dress worn by the accused persons and the same was also recovered from him and it prima facie shows that the petitioner was involved in the above crime. That apart custodial interrogation of the petitioners is very much required in this case. Hence this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
