Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to produce the body or person of the petitioners daughter namely Selvai D/o.Periyasamy aged about 24 years before this Honourable Court and to set her at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN, J.) The petitioner is the father of one Mrs.Selvi. He has filed the present Habeas Corpus Petition alleging that his daughter by name, Selvi, aged 24 years was missing from 07.03.2016. A complaint has been given to the respondents.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that a case has been registered by the Mannarkadu Police Station, Kerala State, in Crime No.574/2016 under Section 57 of the Kerala Police Act, under woman missing and the same is pending investigation before the said police station.
