: Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records connected with the detention order of the respondent No.2 in H.S.(M). Confdl.No.33/2016, dated 20.07.2016 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body and person of the detenu by name Murugan S/o.Selvaraj @ Palraj, aged about 35 years, now detained in Palayamkottai Central Prison before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) Challenging the detention order passed by the District Collector and District Magistrate, Tuticorin District, in H.S.(M). Confdl.No.33/2016, dated 20.07.2016, ordering to detain one Murugan S/o.Selvaraj @ Palraj, the petitioner has come up with this Petition.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that as per G.O.Rt.No.351, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection (E3) Department, dated 21.09.2016, the above said detention order has been revoked. 3.In view of the same, this Habeas Corpus petition has become infructuous and accordingly, the same is dismissed as infructuous.
