This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file a charge sheet in Crime No.1 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police within the time stipulated by this Court.

When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that investigation in Crime No.1 of 2019 has been completed and charge sheet has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Sivagangai, on 30.04.2024.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Sivagangai, is directed to take appropriate decision on the final report filed in Crime No.1 of 2019 by the respondent without any delay.
