ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 28.03.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, there is a property dispute between the petitioner and the third and fourth respondents in respect of the property in S.Nos.26/3 and 26/5, Periakollapatti Village. While so, the respondents 3 and 4 have filed a suit as against the petitioner in O.S.No. 24 of 2022 on the file of the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sattur, and the same was dismissed. Even after that, they restrained the petitioner from enjoying the property and also caused life threat and thereby, the petitioner sent a representation on 28.03.2025 to the second respondent, but the same has not been considered. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that the 2/52/5

representation of the petitioner is under enquiry and the respondents 3 and 4 stated that as against the judgment and decree passed by the trial Court in O.S.No.24 of 2022, they preferred an appeal and the same is pending. However, they will conduct enquiry and dispose of the petitioner's representation within 15 days.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without issuing the notice to the third and fourth respondents, is inclined to pass orders.

5. According to the petitioner, he sent a representation to the second respondent for providing police protection and the same was not considered. The second respondent also admitted the receipt of the representation and the same is under enquiry. Therefore, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.03.2025, after affording opportunity to both parties, in accordance with law, and dispose of the same within 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
