: Respondents PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the person or body of the detenu namely Kumaresan S/o.Sadaiyan, aged about 50 years before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

[Order of the Court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN, J.] The petitioner viz., Rajalakshmi has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition stating that her husband viz., Kumaresan S/o.Sadaiyan, aged 50 years, has been missing from 05.06.2016 and that though a case has been registered in Crime No.146 of 2016 for man missing, based on her complaint, the detenu has not been traced till now. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2.We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that after registering the case, the respondents are taking effective steps to trace out the detenu. The said statement is recorded.

4. In view of the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with a direction to the respondents to take effective steps to trace out the detenu forthwith.
