For Respondent : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.18/2023 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offences punishable under Section 448 of IPC and sections 5(l) and 6 of POCSO Act in Crime No.18 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner on the false promise of marrying the victim girl had committed penetrative sexual assault on her and thereafter refused to marry her. Hence, the complaint.

4. From perusal of First Information Report, it is seen that the petitioner on the pretext of love affair with the victim girl aged about 16 years had committed penetrative sexual assault. Therefore the petitioner has committed very serious offence against the minor victim girl hence this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
