PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to furnish the award copy pertaining to the acquisition Proceedings qua laying the new railway line from Madurai to Thoothukudi via Aruppukottai pursuant to the representation, dated.16.01.2025 preferred by the petitioner within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. The relief sought for by the petitioner is only seeking a copy of the award in the land acquisition proceedings, under which the petitioner's valuable property has been acquired. The petitioner has sought for a copy of the award by making a representation on 16.01.2025.

3. Considering the limited relief sought for, the 4th respondent is directed to furnish the copy of the award as requested by the petitioner vide his representation, dated 16.01.2025 within a period of four (4) weeks from the date 2/4

of receipt of copy of this order.
